Where is the- / How do I- / What does this- *Boom* Thread

This is part suggestion, part idea, and part what-is-this-I-don't-even.

The first order of business is subscriptions, which my lack of ability to find is the reason for the title. I see a subscription button at the very bottom of most threads. Upon clicking it, it subscribes me to the entire forum, which I then have to back out of and remove the subscription of.

How exactly does one subscribe to an individual thread? I know that the answer is right in front of me, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. Is it a setting I'm missing, something that my eyes don't see, or is active board just pissed at me for my years of abstinence.

you can subscribe to a thread via clicking the "reply" button (above the posts) and then checking the "Email me whenever there is a new post to this topic" box. It's below the white box you type in :3 Only works with "real" replies though, not with quick replies.
