There are indeed some odd kinds of people here. I'm one of them. As for making characters, I can help you with that. What I would recommend is finding a template, a standard way of making a profile. Copy it from one of the people here-- it will generally demonstrate what kind of information we look for in characters, and a simple format you can use. You can use my hand, if you need one.
What's too far depends person to person. Some people like their RPs simple and cute. I like them kinky and creative and complex.
