Do people the world over truly have nothing better to do? Personally, I believe there is a time and a place for everything, but the internet should be treated like one would a multi vitamin. It is there to supplement what our lives are lacking, rather then to take the place of those lives. Oh, but the wild beating of a heart, the quickening of the breath... And that feeling in the back of your head that tells you, "Jump. Move faster. Press the red button. Eat the fruit forbidden." these things are some of the best gifts our fleshy canisters afford us. It is for these reasons, among others, that I loath such things as that, and second life, and the like. Even things like facebook annoy me when people feel the need to update the world of where they got coffee this morning.
