I used to frequent Gaiaonline more than daily, on many occations I couldnt leave for multiple hours before I had to log in to check the status on the gazillion roleplays I had going.
However, one day I stopped receiving replies at all. My inbox wasnt full, there is no technical solutions to it. But all of my roleplays just died on the same day without any sort of feedback. When I try poking the roleplayers about it they didnt even say its because of me or the roleplay.. They are just busy.. But the honest truth is that 15 people do not suddenly find themselves busy for two months without the ability to give me any sort of proper message like "omg sorrehz, I r busy" or even something thats more proper than that.
Ive had enough wasting my time and energy on roleplayers treating me like a joke.
I do not know how old the people were, that you roleplayed with on Gaia, but people on Gaia tend to be a little young and perhaps not the most reliable, in my opinion. I mean be upset, as you need to, but you can move on to better things. You seem to be happy here, perhaps you have already found something better than what you experienced on Gaia? I have nothing against Gaiaonline, by the way, I have a few different accounts.
I am a very busy individual and I never really know when I will be unable to log in on sites. I have gotten much better, over the years, with letting people know about what's going on that causes me to be away. When I used to frequent Gaia regularly and I started getting busier, I could not say that I was able to let everyone know that I was going to be away for a period of time...i never did roleplay on their though...anyway, basically I am just trying to say that a good amount of people on Gaia are unreliable, me included, whether it has to do with age/their level of responsibility(responsibility sometimes coorelates with age), the level of importance that they give the site, or something else.
I hope that things get better for you, try not to be too upset. ^^;
