Question for you guys.

Inspired to this after reading Thin Lines)another topic under mine) I have woken up many times, scared and panicked as I was in my dream, in pain as if what happened truly did, with burns, bruises and even cuts from my dreams, and I have no reaso nto lie about any of this. Curious to know thoughts of this. What does everyone believe about the thought of those walking the thin line between Reality and Subreality, Is there truly a difference between this world and the higher, Spirit plaine, or does either really exist any more then the next?

Looks like you and Himeka-chan have quite a lot in common. We're friends on Gaia, and she's told me about this kind of stuff happening to her. RoseSangue, who no longer comes on this site, has the same things. She's woken up with rope marks around her wrists and red slashes on her neck. (Rose, I know in real life. I've seen the marks.)

That's why I posted this up here. Since I study the mind it is hard for me to determine wither or not any of this is real or simply delusions of the mind. Of course with the placebo effect certain marks can be obtained unnaturally through the minds offput to the bodily receptacles but this seems a little extreme to be that. thoughts?

The burns, I'm not sure about. The cuts and bruises could be from you struggling in your sleep. Often, if you are hurt while sleeping, it can cause the dream to add the event... I'm still unable to give a full answer. Reading your post as well as Himeka's has me questioning things now.

Bruises are plausible but unless one is experiencing a night terror I disbelieve they could cut themselves in their sleep and not realize it, though I had not thought of this previously, and it is a good point to ponder on. Though I still must wonder if there's mroe at work here.

If mean a small cut, I would say your fingernails. If you mean 'It looks like someone took a knife to my arm and cut me' then I have absolutely no idea.

The answer is to accept the fact that our only basis of reality is the information being received by our senses. As long as our only concept of reality comes from a third party source, there is no way to determine it is not falsified. If it is falsified, then there is no way to determine what the true reality is, and if any natural laws as we believe them apply there. You could be a program on an advanced computer. Somewhere in space a god with extreme multiple personality disorder could be dreaming, and we all experience that dream separately because of his/her/its fragmented mind. Of course, my favorite answer is that I am Cthulhu, and you are all part of the dream that I have before I wake up and eat many humans.

Christmas is an old 18th century british holiday. I dont treat it as the Americans do. I got together with some goth friends, had a great big traditional British dinner, and drank allot of traditional British whiskey while eating a traditional British plum pudding soaked in traditional British brandy. My plate took 5 minutes for the fire to go out. It still got me buzzed. Or was that the whiskey? Anyway, both before and after that we did what goths do. We made fun of everything in a very cynical way, while being sexy, and pausing periodically to sacrafice neighborhood children to our dark gods. (Me) How did you spend the day?

I've never seen the words Goth, British and Traditional so many times together in one sentance.

I spent my family eating good food then naping on the floor, then waking up to discuss our views on the American Education System. :p
