Do you beleive Lelouch died? It's my personal opinion he did, but i'd like to have a small debate over it, seeing as how I can't find an active forum to yell at those who thought he survived.

Yeah, Lelouch died. It was really brilliant, too-- he left the world in ruins, but put the chance to heal it in the right hands: Suzaku and Nunally.

How would he NOT have died?

Chuck Norris could nuzzle him with his beard and he'd come to life... >.>

No, Lelouch chose and dictated his own fate. Chuck Norris could not revive Lelouch, any more than a mere gold needle could revive Palom and Porom in Final Fantasy IV. The only thing that revived them was a stupid plot device to let them live for the sequel.

Chuck Norris once nuzzled a dead lamb with his beard and brought it back to life. However, Chuck Norris would not rub his beard against another man. So... you're right, Chuck Norris WOULD not revive Lelouch.

I, myself, do beleive he died, but there is some evidence the other way.

It appears as though he could have a code, as shown by his final interaction with Nunnaly, as she saw his past in the same way Suzaku and Lelouch saw C.C.'s past.

Um... I dunno about THAT. I don't remember anything like that. Besides, he used the geas unto the end, even against Nunally herself. He very very died. If he had survived, what then? The world hated him. They would have made sure he was dead. He MADE the world hate him-- it was his master plan.

Noone else even knows about codes except for Jeremiah, who's not even guaranteed to know, so generally a sword through the chest would satisfy the population, no?

And Nunnaly did see into his past. It's how she figured out what his whole plan.

I'm not saying Lelouch survived. It's still my opinion that he did die, I'm just pointing out that ending was very ambiguous

I really don't think it was very ambiguous. I mean, no one knew Lelouch's plan at the end except Suzaku, the only other piece. I don't remember Nunally knowing at all. And it was pretty clear what happened at the end. Kallen and her mom lived happily. Ohgi and Villetta had their baby. The Black Knights got a deli. Anya went with Jeremiah to raise oranges. Xingke probably died of his illness, since he wasn't shown. The world rebuilt itself. Nunally ruled Britannia with "Zero" at her side. Shneizel served Zero. And Lelouch very much died.

When Lelouch fell down to Nunnaly's side, she saw flashes of his plan. She was totally unaware of it up until that point.
